During law school, she served as an articles editor for the Temple Law Review and as a judicial intern for Judge Eduardo C. Robreno of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Prior to law school, Yunica worked in commercial procurement for a global pharmaceutical company and in product development for a national retail pharmacy chain.
